i’m reading ‘into the wild’ right now.. so far so good. ‘between a rock and a hard place’ is good. so is ‘the monkey wrench gang’ (that might be more like an eco-terrorist adventure book though)
mark twain books are good and have that basic wandering mentality that most outdoor adventure books have. i really liked ‘roughing it’.
jack loundon’s books are good too, but i think he’s a pansy. he never really lived the way his books suggested and died a fat drunk. i guess that’s why they call it fiction though.
