Here is one: The Elephant Wallow is a great place to go. All you have to do is book your tickets & then make your way to Welcome Centre in Sun City [Sun City is somewhere in Sun City] & then you will be tranferred to the elephant wallow. I have 21 detailted trips that i have reacently typted up. In fact to gather all that information of the net took me over 34 hours. I will swap all this information with you if you would kindely give this informtion: Where is Sun city, where can you walk with baboons & any other helpful info on transport around africa
Cape Town and Durban, St Lucia and the National Park there (Northeast, shared with Mocambique) For artificial environment at high environmental costs: Sun City.
South Africa has a huge variety of places to see… some of my favorites include:
Cape Town – Look at visiting False Bay, the quieter side of Cape Town. You’ll find a great drive from Muizenburg through to Cape Point, with a great family beach in Fish Hoek, a small naval base in Simonstown and Boulders Beach (where you can swim with penguins). On the other side of Cape Town are a lot of beaches and Hout Bay, a fishing wharf.
St Lucia – This is a world heritage sight, about 2 hours north of Durban along the coast. It is a lovely small village, quiet and ideal for getting away from the maddening crowds.
Sun City – as already mentioned, is a good stop for the interior of South Africa. You’ll find a wonderful ‘Vegas-style’ hotel centre, with a great water park. About 15 minutes from Sun City, you’ll find a small nature reserve (big enough to keep you busy for two or three days) where you can see all of the Big Five animals of Africa.
I hope you have a great visit.
