    Nope, the color is NOT fake. This was shot on 16mm Kodachrome film, first sold by Kodak in 1936. This is real color; it has not been colorized.

    This catastrophe taught engineers a few new things they didn’t know before. It may have been up to snuff at the time but they didn’t know enough to take into account what wind and resonance would do. Don’t blame the engineers for not knowing what most didn’t know at the time.
