There is a free hunt mode, but limited. You pick the animal youto hunt and that is the only one you can kill. Further, you have access to all weapons at all times. I’d rather hunt an area with preselected equipment, scout it and not know what animals are there. Further, the bird hunting (which is part of story mode) is a joke. Pheasants galore kick out of bushes and you have no dog. Tree stands can only be used on certain trees. Nothing near a hunting simulation. Still waiting Cabelas!!
