I hate to break this to everyone, but once salmon is in freshwater long enough for it’s scales to darken the meat is damn near worthless. It’s texture disintegrates and tends to taste very bad. The rotting carcasses make downtown Ketchikan smell like dead fish at least through October…Fun video though, looks like you took better advantage of the nice day than I did.
SAR’s , ROFLMAO!!!wal-mart sells rubberized gloves with a dimpled type grain on the palms that would work well for your next fishing trip.

We have salmon runs here in the seattle area as well but if I tried to catch any around here, I’d get arrested.
